Company History

Full Spectrum Software was founded in 1996 by senior managers from major software consulting firms who began hiring leading computer scientists from major medical technology firms such as Siemens, Boston Scientific and Genzyme. Our very first client was Kodak Medical Imaging (now CareStream) for whom we did multiple projects and launched the company into growth mode.

As we continued to grow, we continue to be fortunate to attract and retain some of the most experienced computer scientists from the medical device and life sciences industries. Our engineering staff averages 17 years of professional experience.

In 2004, we launched a major initiative to create a consortium of independent consultants, with the goal of attracting computer scientists with deep vertical experience in various specialties such as neuroscience, genomics, molecular imaging, spectral analysis and robotics to name just a few. Our flexible team structure allows us to rapidly scale up projects to meet customer demand and tap into our specialized internal expertise. This creates project teams with all the right technical skills and experience to match our clients’ technology challenges.

In 2009, we committed to and achieved ISO 13485 certification. Starting with an already robust Quality Management System, we expanded our QMS to reach all corners of our corporate functions. Our QMS requires us to seek ways in which to constantly improve our processes.
